Network Design & Installation

• Design and build Ethernet networks and servers
• Install and operate major operating systems including: Windows 98, Dos, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 advanced server, Citrix Server, Windows XP, Cisco routers, and Macintosh OS 9 and X
• Set-up dedicated T1 lines for remote offices with Internet connectivity and servers through Cisco routers
• Design and implement secure web servers using IIS or Apache behind Cisco routers
• Knowledge of digital and analog electronics including fiber optics
• Software programming using C++ and Assembly

Network & Computer Administration

• Network Administration, software installed, hardware upgraded, back-ups & security
• Install and operate major operating systems including: Windows 98, Dos, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 advanced server, Citrix Server, Windows XP, Cisco routers, and Macintosh OS 9 and X
• Diagnose network speed and availability issues and correct as needed
• Troubleshoot complex hardware-software integration problems with all operating systems
• Use of oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analyzers
• Knowledge of circuitry and troubleshooting at the component level
